Ten Essential oils you should have in your medicine chest



1.  Lavender oil -  Great for burns.  It is a natural antibiotic, sedative, antidepressants, antiseptic and detoxifier.  Wonderful for headaches.  Smells great too!
2.  Eucalyptus - a great treatment for coughs and colds.  This essential oil is antiseptic, anti inflammatory, diuretic, analgesic, antibiotic and a deodorizer.
3.  Thyme - has powerful antiviral properties.  Diffuse in the room when you have the flu.  Discourages insects and parasites from coming into your home.  Use with caution and never apply to the skin without a carrier oil.
4.  Lemon - Stimulates the digestive system
5.  Clove - Can use as a quick relief for toothaches.  Good for digestive problems.  Also good for muscles.  Do not use this essential aromatherapy oil undiluted on the skin.
6.  Rosemary - Wonderful to relax the muscles - enjoy a nice soak in the bath.  Also used in acne products
7.  Geranium - a delightful fragrance - wonderful for the skin.  Used for e menopause, blood disorders among other things.  A relaxing essential oil to use.
8.  Chamomile - a soothing and calming oil.  Good for children who are teething or just being irritable.  Also has anti inflammatory properties.
9.  Peppermint - excellent for digestion.  Helps with bad breath, indigestion and “gas”.  For the home, it helps keep fleas, ants and mice away.
10.  Tea Tree Oil - An antiseptic oil useful for many types of infections.
